In what ways do you worship God? This video, made by Denver Seminary students, demonstrates how going into creation is a powerful tool for inspiring worship. The beautiful poem and soundtrack in the video are both praises to God. They are both expressions of worship that were inspired by wilderness experiences. One of these students, Ethan, is a worship pastor in Denver. He encourages worshipers to “spend time in God’s outdoor class room where there’s endless inspiration to praise our creator.”

POEM BY KRISTEN BEALL
Carry on oh restless soul
Wander on til you find your home
Along this dusty path you tread
With not but grass to lie your head
I hear Him calling, this love of mine
In Him alone do I confide
Man’s finest moment fails to withstand
I drop these ashes from my hand
Open free, I come to thee
Awaken my heart that I may see
With many miles behind and before
Cut these cords that I may soar
Heaven-born creature bound to dirt
Broken souls and many hurts
For this alone, I was not created
Lead me to a place untainted
With a soul that yearns for heaven, I will endure
Seven times seventy seven
No matter where I go
There is only one I seek to know
Along this dusty path you tread
With not but grass to lie your head
Carry on oh restless soul
Wander on til you find your home
