BRIEF HISTORY OF HOW WILDERNESS RANCH GOT STARTED AND WHY IT EXISTS
Wilderness Ranch started in 1973 as a rugged option for high school students to experience a Colorado backpacking adventure with Young Life. The context of adventure, small group dynamics and biblical focused ministry has proven a meaningful springboard for powerful life transformations.
WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL WILDERNESS ADVENTURE TRIP?
A successful trip includes adventure, acceptable risks, outstanding leadership, spiritual connections and conversations, consideration for safety and hazard management, fun and great food.
