BRIEF HISTORY OF HOW WAYFORWARD ADVENTURES GOT STARTED AND WHY IT EXISTS
WayForward Adventures in a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2014 by Todd Pinkston. Prior to starting WayForward, Todd was a full-time employee at Young Life who had a passion for ministering to youth through outdoor adventure. After taking a group of adult men on a 5-day camping trip in 2013, Todd identified a need in Christian Outdoor Ministries, which typically cater to the youth. He realized that spending time in the outdoors was just as impactful, if not more so, for adults as it was for kids. This led him to found WayForward Adventures whose mission is to empower individuals (predominantly adults) through outdoor adventure to identify how they are wired and who God has made them to be. WayForward Adventures exists to help get adults disconnect from their busy lives and gets them out into God’s Creation. It is meant to provide them with an Adventure while also providing them the opportunity to grow closer to God and discover His purpose for their lives.

Trips are range from 4 to 5 days.
