SOLID ROCK BIBLE CAMP’S VISION

Use the outdoors to facilitate relationships and reach the youth of Alaska with the truth of the Gospel.

BRIEF HISTORY OF HOW SOLID ROCK BIBLE CAMP GOT STARTED AND WHY IT EXISTS

Solid Rock Bible Camp was started in 1957 by local missionaries and is a non-profit, non-denominational camp. In the last 50+ years we have grown into the largest youth camp in Alaska, serving over 1000 kids a summer. We have 3 separate programs at Solid Rock Bible Camp, all are live-in camps, the majority of the camps are 7 days long. Our largest is Lakeside, a traditionally styled program with the addition of sports camps for teens. Our Wagon Train camp is our horse focused program. The smallest is the Wilderness camp which offers sea kayaking, mountain biking, backpacking, canoeing, light mountaineering and combination trips.

WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL WILDERNESS ADVENTURE TRIP?
