ROCK RIDGE CHRISTIAN CAMP VISION
Rock Ridge Christian Camp exists to create a wilderness camping experience for youth and adults with the purpose of sharing Christ, encouraging growth in Christ and providing training for the Christian leaders and workers of tomorrow.
BRIEF HISTORY OF HOW ROCK RIDGE GOT STARTED AND WHY IT EXISTS
Rock Ridge started in 1998 as a residential camp in Ely, MN with a focus on residential camping and outfitting. In 2012 a new director came in and started implementing Christian wilderness ministry by developing a Guided Camping program. Our summers are now filled with youth coming up to Rock Ridge to grow in the Lord, be discipled,and learn wilderness skills and ethics through Adventure camp and Guided trips. We exist to bring youth and adults into the wilderness, let them experience God in His creation, to teach them about wilderness travel, ethics, and adventure, and most importantly to give them opportunities to know Jesus and/or grow in their relationship with Jesus.
There is abundant anecdotal and scientific research proving what the Bible has said all along—hands-on, adventure-based learning like that found on all Summit Adventure courses is the most effective way to affect change and growth in people. Period.

Trips cost in the rage of $300-$400.
HOW ROCK RIDGE POINTS PEOPLE TO CHRIST AND HELPS THEM GROW IN THEIR FAITH
There are daily devotionals that the guides do with their groups that are taken from a curriculum that is used camp wide but tailored for each group.
