Ndubaluba Outdoor Centre’s Vision

To enable Chengelo School to draw its own students and those beyond Chengelo into a closer relationship with Christ through Christian Outdoor Adventure learning.

Brief History of How Ndubaluba Outdoor Centre Got Started and Why It Exists

Ndubaluba Outdoor Centre began in 1995 as a branch of Chengelo School. The principal of the school had a passion for the outdoors and for adventure. Ndubaluba quickly developed as a centre for learning in the outdoors and for spiritual development according to Christian teaching.

Over the last two decades the centre has developed and now provides camps and courses to young people across Zambia and from overseas. The central theme of all we do is closeness to Jesus. We use the natural environment as a means to build relationships and develop young people through challenge.

Tesitmonials

Ndubaluba has taught me a lot. There was a night I went star gazing, I looked up in the sky and I saw many different types of stars and now I’m in the bush looking at different types of insects and plants. After looking at all this I looked at myself and saw how unique I was. I have been at Ndubaluba for days and when I look back I see that I’ve survived, not only by myself but with my group, and not only with my group but my class, and not only with my class but with my Lord. I have survived and I was not alone. I am not afraid anymore and I’m now a new Veronica hopefully a better one…I guess that was my goal. I want to thank the people that were with me and kept me moving.  -Italian School student.

Thank you for the amazing time at Ndubaluba and most of all thank you for teaching me more
about God. I learned a lot and I got inspired to know more about Him.’ LICS year 9 student.
