Adventure Experiences, Inc. (AEI) Base Camp is a camp located near Gunnison, Colorado. AEI uses the beautiful surrounding landscape to provide physical and spiritual challenge through an array of outdoor adventures.

BRIEF HISTORY OF HOW AEI BASE CAMP GOT STARTED AND WHY IT EXISTS
AEI (Adventure Experiences, Inc.) Base Camp was started in 1984 by Tim and Linda Kempfe as a Christian wilderness adventure camp in Taylor Park, CO. Tim and Linda wanted to invest in the lives of youth and adults alike and introduce them to wilderness as means of introducing them to God’s heart. AEI’s niche is wilderness adventure and we program activities such as rock climbing, backpacking, peak assaults, white water rafting, orienteering, adventure racing, fly fishing, etc.
WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL WILDERNESS ADVENTURE TRIP?
A successful wilderness adventure trip consists of people being challenged and engaged in ways that are contrary to their normal day routines; both physically and spiritually.
