Title: Videographer/Photographer
Description:
Goal
The Videographer/Photographer will work with the Development Manager to create materials for use in various marketing strategies and campaigns.
Summary
SROM is looking for a self-motivated individual to create visual content to help tell our story through video production. The applicant must also be able to organize and manage our digital assets, making them easy to utilize by staff.
Responsibilites
Reports to: Development Manager/Executive Director
- Developing creative ideas to promote SROM through visual media
- Manage and maintain SROM’s photo library and other visual assets
- Utilize existing video assets to create video content
- Video/photo production
- All SROM staff will, at times, be required to perform duties outside their area of expertise. It is likely your primary responsibilities will not occupy all of your time at work.

Full time or Part Time: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Type of Position: Paid (But person will need to raise part or all of their financial support)

College Degree Req’d: Yes
Required Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Video portfolio (Please include your role: camera, audio, lighting, direction, editing, grading, talent, etc.)
- Photography portfolio
- Good attention to detail
- Good organization
- Creativity; Passion to promote SROM
- Committed to SROM’s values and the development of SROM as a premiere wilderness ministry
- Works well independently and as a team
- Self-motivated
- Can complete tasks with little supervision
- Willingness to work in remote wilderness areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional training in video production
- Experience with WordPress websites
- Professional experience in video production
- Familiarity and expertise with relevant Adobe products
- Graphic design training or experience. Please provide portfolio if available.
- Backpacking and/or climbing/mountaineering experience.
