Job Title and Description
Title: Senior Outdoor Activity Instructor
Description: You will work with a variety of age groups from a range of backgrounds leading activities such as canoeing, kayaking, rafting, climbing, hill-walking, problem-solving and bush craft (to name a few!) You will also take responsibility for staff training, course safety and programme content as part of the management team.
Ndubaluba Outdoor Centre provides Christian Outdoor Adventure Education for young people across Zambia, including students at its partner school Chengelo. Our outdoor programme takes place in multiple locations across Zambia including Lake Tanganyika, Mulungushi Gorge, Kundalila Waterfalls and Mount Mumpu (and our centre!)
Salary / benefits: You will receive a monthly salary. Accommodation and food is provided. Flight, visa and work permit costs are covered.
Required Experience:
You should have qualifications in at least 3 of the following areas:
- Hill Walking
- Climbing / abseiling
- Paddlesport (canoeing / kayaking / rafting)
- Bushcraft / survival
- Gorge walking / kloofing / canyoneering
In addition you should have at least 2 years’ experience working with young people in an outdoor education context and preferably experience at a senior level.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for Jesus, young people and the outdoors.
Ndubaluba Outdoor Centre is focused on Christian Outdoor Adventure Education. It is therefore an Occupational Requirement that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
