Title: Media Producer
Description: Japan is home to one of the richest cultures in the world today with so many sites, scenes, and experiences to explore. Yet with all its natural beauty found in the people and terrain between sea and summit, the group of islands in the Pacific Ocean is home to one of the least reached people groups of the world! Our mission is to be a guiding light that directs others to a path of total surrender to Jesus by serving and witnessing in such a dark place.
The media producer will work with the directors to assist with the overall marketing plan and specific projects. You will help promote the NORTHSTAR label through management of the NORTHSTAR brand image. This will include a range of project areas including developing apparel and other shop product designs, inter and extra-office document design layouts, sales tools, and facility signage.
You will also work with the production of relevant media for our target audience. Using social media, our websites, and other tools to connect with our guests, you will help maintain a broad range of media tools.

Required Experience:
If you are considering this unique role, you should have some experience or a background in the following:
• Social media production
• Marketing
• Design across varied fields such as web, print materials, or apparel
• Interest in a cross-cultural living experience
• Higher education [4 year or equivalent] is recommended but not required
Character Qualities:
An applicant for the media producer role should have a desire to use creativity and design skills for connecting people to Jesus Christ. You should have a heart for cross-cultural ministry with a desire to use your talents for God’s kingdom. Applicants must be able to work with a diverse team.
