Description:
Japan is home to one of the richest cultures in the world today with so many sites, scenes, and experiences to explore. Yet with all its natural beauty found in the people and terrain between sea and summit, the group of islands in the Pacific Ocean is home to one of the least reached people groups of the world! Our mission is to be a guiding light that directs others to a path of total surrender to Jesus by serving and witnessing in such a dark place.
As part of the hospitality team, you will primarily be involved with the following areas of guest care:
• Cleaning and maintaining guest facilities
• Arranging and displaying store products and goods
• Assisting with some meal preparation
• Serving meals to our guests
• Helping with secretarial or office related tasks as needed
• Helping support NORTHSTAR programming as needed

Full time or Part Time: Part Time
Start Date: ASAP
Type of Position: Paid (But person will need to raise part or all of their financial support)

College Degree Req’d: No
Required Experience:
An applicant for this role should have some experience through practical service such as in a kitchen, performing maintenance, or cleaning. This person should be able to work with team and enjoy serving alongside a multi-cultural group.
Character Qualities:
As the backbone of our guest services, you must have a genuine desire to serve through action. Many of the day-to-day tasks a host will perform will be behind the scenes yet crucial to the function and operation of our mission. A host applicant may be someone who enjoys details and appreciates supporting a team.
