Title: Full Time Staff Member
Description:
● Contribute to the overall mission and vision of Thrive Adventures
● Guide and facilitate outdoor adventure experiences
● Guide and facilitate weekend retreats
● Write experiential programs, devotions, and other materials to be used during outdoor adventures and retreats
● Contribute to other events such as, but not limited to, fundraisers and donor appreciation events
● Pursue local partnerships for the purpose of building new relationships, finding new connections, and booking future trips
● Raise your own salary and maintain a personal support base
Seasonal/Year-Around: Year-Around
Full time or Part Time: Full Time
Type of Position: Paid (But person will need to raise part or all of their financial support)
Minimum Age: 21
College Degree Req’d: Yes
*Teams in Taos, NM and Asheville, NC are both hiring full time staff members. Placement would depend on the desire of the applicant as well as the specific needs of each team.
Required Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree
● Previous ministry and outdoor guiding experience preferred
● Maintain a current Wilderness First Responder certification
● Maintain current industry-standard certifications for guided outdoor activities (i.e., AMGA Single Pitch,
PCIA Top Rope, Swift Water Rescue, etc.)
● Must complete Thrive Adventures Backcountry and Facilitators Trainings
