My friend, Jim Doenges, who is the Assistant Program Director for Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries (SROM) in Laramie, Wyoming recently published a great one-page article highlighting Denver Seminary’s unique Christian Outdoor Leadership concentration. In his article he references the doctoral dissertation which is the research that undergirds my recent book on outdoor leadership curriculum called, Christian Outdoor Leadership: Theology, Theory, and Practice.
If you’d like to learn more about Jim Doenges, or SROM, here is their website. They have an excellent reputation for training leaders in wilderness ministry and outdoor leadership. Also, feel free to click here if you’d like to check out my book on Christian outdoor leadership which is available on Amazon.com.
Thanks Jim for your brief and pithy article that makes a strong case for the growing need to train future Christian leaders and pastors to have a more sustainable rhythm to their ministries and better skills at communicating the Gospel through experiential learning techniques like Jesus did.
In Christ,
Ashley
