Adventure guides spend their days facilitating and leading outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, canyoneering, backpacking, and whitewater rafting. They work as both camp counselors for youth and as adventure guides.

Required Experience
Qualifications
Christian camping or other ministry experience
Currently enrolled in high school or high-school diploma or higher education preferred
Agreement and compliance with camp Mission, Vision, Values, Staff Handbook, and Doctrinal Statement
First aid and CPR certified
Plan to receive white water guide school with Rock N Water, even if you have already attended guide school previously.
Top Rope Belay certified (climbing entity preferred)
Valid California Drivers license
Physical Requirements
Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job – including leaning, bending over, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting, lifting, carrying, holding, and moving heavy objects
Able to swim 250 yards Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift, hold, and carry a minimum of 40 pounds
