Title: Adventure Guide Trainee
Description:
You will work long and hard, but very fulfilling and enjoyable days. The goals of the Adventure Trainee Program are as follows: To Serve campers and the community by building a team that significantly contributes to a positive Christian camp atmosphere that is encouraging for staff, assists in the running of the camp, and helps to provide a fantastic environment for campers. To Grow trainees emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially in preparation for outdoor Christian youth ministries To educate and equip trainees in competence for all adventure areas. This is included but is not limited to, leading rock climbing, white water rafting, team challenges, backpacking, group interactions, Christian leadership, and performing camp duties.

Character Qualities
We look for people who love God, enjoy working hard, want to grow in their Christian faith, and want to give their summer to the campers. Must be at least 17 years old.

Qualifications
A vibrant and dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and a genuine desire to serve others
Minimum age of 17
Valid CA Drivers License preferred
Availability early June to early August
Physical Demands
Excellent health, physical condition, and endurance due to the strenuous demands of adventure activities
Ability to lift at least 50lbs worth of recreational equipment (backpacks, funyaks, rafts, paddles, life jackets, etc.) and carry it long distances Ability to confidently swim 50 yards
Ability to run, squat, climb, bend, swim, paddle, and jump
Ability to work in inclement weather
