Title: Adventure Program Assistant
Description:
Japan is home to one of the richest cultures in the world today with so many sites, scenes, and experiences to explore. Yet with all its natural beauty found in the people and terrain between sea and summit, the group of islands in the Pacific Ocean is home to one of the least reached people groups of the world! Our mission is to be a guiding light that directs others to a path of total surrender to Jesus by serving and witnessing in such a dark place.
We are looking for a genuine person who may not possess all the skills or knowledge (experts) to be an instructor, but who has the desire to be used and shaped by God. An adventure program assistant will work with adventure activity programming – coordinating and leading seasonal sports activities such has rock climbing, hikes, nature crafts, snowboarding, skiing, etc. However, an assistant will also be involved with hospitality, facility maintenance, meal service, taking part in local ministry, and doing community assistance work. This is all centered around the desire to create opportunities to connect and engage with people about the life-changing hope of Jesus Christ.

Full time or Part Time: Part Time but could be Part Time or Full Time depending on the candidate

Required Experience:
We are looking for applicants who have an interest in cross-cultural ministry and a desire to serve. An applicant should have a heart for least-reached and unchurched with a desire to minister through actions and words.
Character Qualities:

• Gifting and passion in food service.
• Eye for details & comfortable with routine.
• A desire to learn & communicate via Japanese.
