Rafting with Noah’s Ark on the Arkansas River
One of the wilderness ministry programs I’ve always been impressed with is Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting and Adventure Company. A couple of summers ago, when I spoke to their staff in Buena Vista, CO, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of guides at Noah’s Ark.
One of the unique contributions of Noah’s is the way they combine epic whitewater rafting down the Arkansas River with Christ-centered wilderness ministry focused on rock climbing, and backpacking.
A Unique Model | A Profitable Faith-Based Outdoor Recreation Company
Another unique aspect of Noah’s Ark is that it is a company, and not a non-profit organization. They seem to have figured out how to run a successful outdoor recreation business with thoroughly ministry-focused core values. We can learn much from companies such as Noah’s Ark.
