Celebrating 40 Years of Summit Adventure
This week I am highlighting one of our Recommended Outdoor Programs, Summit Adventure. They are located in Bass Lake, California, but also operate internationally. Summit Adventure’s focus is to provide custom adventure programs and experiential education as tools to strengthen relationships with God and others. They have been on the cutting edge of Wilderness Leadership and Outdoor Ministry since 1973.
Summit Adventure has used wilderness and adventure as tools to facilitate transformation, build compassion, strengthen relationships and deepen faith. These processes take place through time-tested and proven strategies that Summit Adventure has used over the past four decades. For many people, their introduction to Summit Adventure is through a friend or neighbor sharing stories from the incredible time they experienced on a Summit Adventure Classic Course.
Thousands of dads and children can attest to the positive impact of their shared experiences on our Adventures in Fatherhood course. Thousands of young adults can describe the leadership they developed on our Adventures in Leadership course or the accomplishment they felt after their time on our 21-Day Expedition. The results of these courses, offered year after year, often far exceed the expectation of participants.
