Adventure planning is so foundational to outdoor ministry. And scouting trips are especially fun for leaders of adventures, because we get to explore and discover routes that others will one day bless those we lead on our route.
Whether you are able-bodied, illiterate, blind, deaf, or mute… everyone can experience the awe-inspiring aspects of God’s intelligent design in His Creation. My story begins with growing up in the mountains of Colorado roaming the forest at age five and going on multi-day backpacking trips at age 12.
I believe the best outdoor leaders who have the best long-term trajectory in the field are those with extensive field experience in a variety of contexts.
Jesus Christ spent 3 years with a group of young friends who were all over the map in their spiritual awareness of who Jesus really was.
Given the history of Czech Republic and the fact that it is considered the most athiestic country in the world, it is amazing to see how God is drawing young people to Christ through this incredibly well-organized outdoor adventure camping ministry.
