OUTBAC Broga is an outdoor ministry program in Malaysia. I first met Heng Kai, the director at a Scripture Union conference in the Malaysian Highlands. In an area were there are very few believers and even fewer camps and retreat opportunities, OUTBAC Broga is a rock in a hard place. They regularly need committed Christians with passion for outdoors to help come serve their campers. They have a small Christian community in Malaysia and there are few people with outdoor ministry skills.
Nestled between the borders of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, OUTBAC BROGA’s story began in 2002. An avid outdoorsman took up the challenge to start the Broga Adventure Camp to give the young people of today, an outdoor lifestyle nearer to home

HISTORY
At a time where economy was booming in Malaysia in 2003, with every intelligent entrepreneur trying their luck in businesses and the stock market, a campsite was started instead. Together with a few friends from the Royal Rangers, they took up the challenge to obtain a scenic 7 acre former durian orchard located about 40 minutes drive from Klang Valley to put together a well constructed campsite for city folks who seek cheap and affordable adventure camping nearby.
